This program is designed to stimulate the use of poultry products locally and increase awareness of the importance of poultry to Arkansas. This guidebook contains information and facts that can be used in speaking to local civic clubs, schools, etc. It also includes procedures and proposed projects for county promotion programs.
The program includes information prepared to assist in conducting a successful county poultry promotion program during 2017. The emphasis of the program is to provide resource material to counties to assist in local promotion efforts. State Recognition Awards will be presented at the Poultry Division Commodity Conference during the 2018 Winter Commodity Division Meetings. The award program rules are included in the poultry promotion program booklet.
