Mark and Shay Morgan of Clarksville (Johnson County) are the 2016 Arkansas Farm Family of the Year, announced today at the annual luncheon honoring the county and district Farm Families of the Year. The Morgans have a two-year-old daughter Kate.
In October, 2015 Taylor McNeel of Vilonia became just the second Arkansan to be elected president of the national FFA Officer Team. She spoke at Arkansas Farm Bureau’s annual meeting and took time to share how the past year has prepared her for the future.

Valley Springs High School grabbed the top spot as the Outstanding Ag Education Program, and Clinton High School’s Justin Wiedower earned the Outstanding New Ag Educator award. All were recognized at Farm Bureau’s 82nd annual convention Dec. 1 at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
