The Taggart family has been farming rice for six generations in Augusta and this year will be the 113th rice crop their family has produced. Fifth generation farmer Krista Taggart and her nephew, Jacob, talk about the history of their family and the difference in farming over a century later.
Carly Bokker earned a master's degree in weed science in 2007 but didn't land her dream job until a decade later – teaching agriculture at Carlisle. Her eighth-grade daughter, Caroline, showed a 10-month-old lamb on Thursday at the Arkansas State Fair in Little Rock.
