Regional “Local Conversations” events are connecting Arkansas farmers and ranchers with those who want to buy or sell their products.

Hosted by the Arkansas Agriculture Department’s Arkansas Grown and Arkansas Made programs, these events allow local farmers and producers to connect with the buying community of grocery store managers, chefs, restauranteurs, and other consumers. Adriane Barnes, communications director for the Ag Department, discusses the success of Local Conversations and the growth of the "locally grown" movement in Arkansas.
