PODCAST: Neonicotinoids and Honeybees
Dr. Gus Lorenz has conducted extensive research into whether neonicotinoid insecticides when used as seed treatments on crops are harmful to honeybees when they are pollinating flowering plants. In this podcast conversation Lorenz says that by the time cotton or other crops bloom residue levels from the seed treatments are so low they should not be harmful to bees.
