Farm Bureau Insurance names five vice presidents

LITTLE ROCK — Five individuals have been named vice presidents at Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Arkansas, according to David Moore, vice president - general manager of the company.

John Bonner, Tammy Crumley, Ken Kolb, Richard Sims and Rick Wells were elevated after recent action by the organization’s board of directors. Their roles provide responsibility for both Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Arkansas, Inc. and Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company’s Arkansas operations.

Bonner, of Vilonia, is vice president – claims. John first joined Farm Bureau in 1985 as a claims adjuster, and he assumed responsibility for the claims department in September, 2013.

Crumley, of Sherwood, is vice president – human resources. Tammy joined Farm Bureau in 1997, and she manages the human resources functions for the insurance companies.

Kolb, of Little Rock, is vice president – information systems. Ken first joined Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company in 1983 in the Jackson, Miss., headquarters and transferred to Arkansas in 1994.

Sims, of Little Rock, is vice president – underwriting.  Richard joined the company in 1990 and has held a number of positions in underwriting, research and development and regulatory affairs.

Wells, of Little Rock, is vice president – finance and has been with the company since 1990. Rick was promoted to lead the finance department in July, 2013, succeeding Moore.
