The Women’s Committee provides opportunities for women to become involved in county and state Farm Bureau organizations, events and programs of work. As vital members of county committees, women are given opportunities to plan and implement programs and activities that:
-
Stimulate interest and enthusiasm of women in the organization and its programs so they will want to assist with developing and carrying out policies that affect agriculture.
-
Provide opportunities for women to participate and become involved in the entire Farm Bureau program.
-
Provide information and education so that Farm Bureau women can attain knowledge to help solve the problems of farmers through their organization.
-
Revitalize the grassroots aspect of Farm Bureau through community–based activities and programs such as Ag in the Classroom, farm tours, legislative activities, safety and health programs, etc.
