Photo contest winners!
The inaugural Front Porch Rural Reflections Photo Contest was a great success. The entries poured in and the quality was excellent. The contest featured two categories: Adult (19 and older) and High School (ages 14-18). The Adult category winner ($250) is Kristyn Rowe of Jonesboro with her photo of 6-month-old James Martin Rowe riding through his grandparents' cotton field. The High School category winner ($250) is 14-year-old Katy Tunstill of Fayetteville. Katy submitted one of numerous photos depicting last winter's devastating ice storm. Her artistic photo featured a close-up of icicles hanging from a barbed wire fence with a silhouette of an black Angus heifer in the background. Kristyn wins the overall Grand Prize ($500) for her photo, as well.
